Global Software firm is seeking a Controller to join their New York City team.
Controller Responsibilities:
- Controller will manage the monthly close
- Handle stock compensation
- Manage the tax accrual globally
- Handle the equity roll for the firm
- Successfully run audit; work with external auditors in performing the audit
- Controller will handle monthly accrual
- Reporting; write reports for the firm
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Controller will handle monthly consolidations
- Responsible for the monthly closing of the books
- Controller will handle technical research
- Management and leadership of the accounting staff
Controller Requirements:
- Bachelors in Accounting; CPA Preferred
- 5-10 years of Accounting Experience
- Knowledge or experience working for a Global Firm
- Public filing experience is a plus
- MS Office Suite; Strong advanced excel
- NetSuite software experience a plus
- Detail Orientated; excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
