Global Financial firm in New York City is seeking an Investment Associate to join as a key member of a growing team. Requirements: Minimum two plus years of Investment Banking experience is required. Corporate and / or real estate investment banking, private equity, and/or special situations professional experience.
Investment Associate Responsibilities:
- Investment Associate will work on all aspects of investment execution throughout the life cycle of an investment
- Support full scope of new investment evaluation processes
- Create presentations, drive investment analytics and present to investment committee
- Conduct thematic-based industry research, market landscaping and analysis
- Support internal resources, managing and supporting external resources
- Interface with management teams and transaction intermediaries
- liaison with third party financing sources, lenders or equity co-investment partners; helping manage third party advisors
- Investment Associate will have strategic, financial and operational involvement with investment and portfolio companies on a post-investment basis
- Support post-transaction investment maximization, working closely with management teams and portfolio companies to help create value
- Investment Associate will handle all stages of an investment, including: financial and operational analysis, internal and external due diligence, company valuations, and investment memorandum preparation
Investment Associate Experiences:
- Three to five years of corporate and / or real estate investment banking, private equity, and/or special situations professional experience
- Minimum two plus years of Investment Banking experience is required
- Strong transaction execution skills
- Banking and deal experience
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Team player, self starter, hands-on and analytical
