Global Bank in NYC is seeking an HR Manager to join their growing firm. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree, 6+ years of HR experience, Banking or Financial Services industry HR experience is required.
HR Manager Responsibilities:
- Handle the administration of compensation, benefits, recruitment, training and staff management
- Administer and maintain compensation program, ensuring market competitive rates by regularly referring to relevant compensation and benefits market surveys
- HR Manager will handle recruitment by screening resumes, conducting interviews and preparing appropriate documentation
- Collaborate with management to develop, implement and drive the annual performance management processes for employees, ensuring individual goals and objectives are in alignment to the overall bank
- Work with external attorney on employee related issues that arise
- Leadership and support with respect training and development
- HR Manager will finalize policies and procedures relating to Human Resources and General Administration
- Knowledge with respect to applicable U.S. laws, regulations and best practices
- Create and maintain information and material on firms expectations, benefit plans, vacation policies, etc, ensuring employee awareness and understanding
HR Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
- 5-10 years of relevant HR experience
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the planning, design and administration of a full range of human resources programs (e.g. compensation, benefits, performance management, training, recruitment etc.)
- Knowledge of U.S. employee labor laws
- Experience working with a global firm preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, general management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle sensitive employee issues with discretion and judgment
