Growing Investment Bank in Boston, MA is seeking a Corporate Restructuring Associate, to work with management on restructuring initiatives and finance transactions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze M&A market trends and write related industry research
- Perform modeling and financial analysis; prepare presentations
- Analyze industries, companies, prospective financial information and historical financial statements
- Distressed M&A advisory services
- Work with distressed companies to find strategic and financial solutions
- Successfully assist with execution of Special Situations M&A and capital raising projects
- Successfully lead efforts to collect information that supports buyer due diligence
- Provide financial and accounting support to transation teams and clients
- Successfully advise clients in and Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
- Ability to participate in complex negotiation on our clients behalf
- Ability to maintain relationships with client personnel
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience and understanding of financial modeling and financial statements
- 1-2 plus years of experience in preferably corporate restructuring, investment banking, business consulting, corporate development, equity or fixed income research or private equity diligence, commercial banking
- Aptitude for qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Detail orientated, strong work ethic, integrity and leadership skills
- Team player who can succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
- Excellent communication skills
