Information Technology and Services firm is seeking a Sales Director to join as a team member in North America. Requirements: Solution Selling and presales technical expertise in PLM or IOT. Five plus years PLM Services Sales experience, history of quota sales achievement.

Sales Director will be responsible for generating services revenue through various accounts in vertical markets using a strategic approach. Understands and sells firms integration services/solutions for high level business problems with minimal assistance, based on PTC and Siemens PLM. Establishes and maintains customer relationships independently up to senior management level.

Sales Director Responsibilities:

  • Sales of firms Service offerings/solutions based on PTC and Siemens PLM
  • Ability to succeed at creating new business utilizing exceptional interpersonal skills and able to network effectively with senior executives
  • Willing to develop larger strategic accounts and grow the account by identifying new opportunities for the business
  • Sales Director will work closely with our Technical Team to recognize how our customers can benefit from our solutions, understand business challenges and then be able to translate this into an ROI and business case
  • Strong customer interaction at the Management level with support on forming relationships with C-level contacts within these accounts
  • Focus and management of personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships
  • Ability to apply a proven sales process to identify, qualify, and manage available resources to close mid to large PLM opportunities
  • Successfully operate under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment

Sales Director Requirements:

  • 5 + years PLM Services Sales experience
  • Solution Selling and presales technical expertise in PLM or IOT
  • Self-starter and be a hunter/challenger mentality
  • History of quota sales achievement throughout their career
  • Four-year technical or business college degree
  • History and knowledge within various business verticals
  • Strong organizational skills and understand the complex technical sales cycle
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • This position may require travel
