Communications Agency in Chicago, IL is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their finance team.
Senior Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Senior Finance manager will lead quarterly forecasting discussions on assigned accounts
- Successfully assist with Monthly P&L Analysis
- Work with local office leadership and management with monthly/quarterly reporting
- Act as a liaison between teams on job creation, budget set up and all aspects of billing.
- Successfully review client scopes to confirm accuracy with rates, pricing, and business terms.
- Maintain trackers for Purchase orders and monthly revenue
- Senior Finance manager will drive monthly revenue recognition calculation
- Ensure that work in progress is cleared in a timely and orderly manner, client documentation/PO’s are secured, and oversees duration of the project lifecycle. Includes preparation of ETC documentation and proper revenue recognition
- Senior Finance Manager will manage Accounts Receivables
- Ability to provide accountability and counsel related to change order management
- Train and ensure project management and account staff are adhering to financial
- Provide financial insights for recurring business reviews with key stakeholders
- Senior Finance Manager will provide ad hoc financial data necessary for leaders to make informed decisions
- Provide financial onboarding to staff to help educate on financial literacy.
- Process office level revenue and expense entries for shared services
- Help support client, internal audits and ad-hoc requests as needed
Senior Finance Manager Qualifications:
- 6+ years’ experience (Agency/Services industry preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable in finance or accounting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in excel
- SAP experience preferred
Salary range: $95,000-$110,000
