Global Banking institution is seeking a Vice President Corporate Banking, to join their Corporate Banking Department.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and source new business for US Local Desk, which is responsible for developing banking business in the US including trade finance, subscription finance, lending and M&A financing etc.
- Market the banks global platform and cross sell New Yorks products (trade finance, loan, deposit etc).
- Knowledge of credit analysis and regular banking products (letter of credit, revolver, term loan etc)
- Ability to prepare credit proposals and deal screening memos and present transactions to deal screening and credit committee.
- Develop and maintain existing customer relationships and account maintenance including quarterly and annual review of existing accounts
- Objective is to develop the banks NY’s client base and cross sell banking products, in a client facing role
- US large corporates coverage responsibility, in a variety of industries
- Responsible for work with Compliance Department and KYC in the on-boarding process
- Additional projects as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 5-7 years’ experience in corporate banking or other related field in finance
- Bilingual in Mandarin and English verbally and in written form, is required
- Strong knowledge of corporate banking, credit and non-credit products
- Strong credit assessment skills and analytical skills
- Results driven, client-focused and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to interact with business customers at various levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact and build relationships with clients
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Salary $140,000-$160,000, based on experience
