Global Bank is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join their finance team in New York City. This individual will be implementing Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) processes, ensuring accurate and effective financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This position requires a strong understanding of banking operations and financial modeling.

FP&A Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Successfully lead the development and implementation of FTP methodologies and processes.
  • Design and implement FTP models to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and allocation of FTP across various business units.
  • Collaborate with treasury, risk management, and business units to gather and analyze data for FTP.
  • Update and maintain FTP systems to reflect changes in market conditions and bank policies.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports, including variance analysis and trend analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial information and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts and analyses to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Support internal and external audits related to financial planning and FTP.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with FTP implementation and financial analysis.

FP&A Analyst Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the banking sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • CFA or MBA is a plus.
  • Bilingual fluency in Mandarin.
  • Strong knowledge of Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodologies and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations and financial modeling.
  • Proficient in data analysis, financial modeling and use of financial software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, and SQL).
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management practices in the banking industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High degree of accuracy, detail-oriented and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Salary range $85,000-$95,000 based on experience.
