Investment Banking firm is seeking Associates to join their offices in Boston, Dallas, NYC and Richmond. Seeking experienced bankers with sell-side M&A transaction execution experience to work closely with senior staff, while executing a variety of corporate finance transactions and supporting business development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Associate will analyze companies, industries, historical financial statements and prospective financial information
- Perform valuation analyses and build financial models
- Draft transaction marketing documents and proposal materials
- Ability to assist in identifying appropriate investors and/or strategic and financial buyers
- Executing and managing due diligence
- Maintain relationships with client personnel
- Analyze M&A market trends and write related industry research
- Ability to assist in training, mentoring and oversight of team analysts & interns
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-2 years of investment banking, sell-side M&A transaction execution experience
- Financial statements and financial modeling understanding
- Aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Team player, self starter with ability to excel in a fast paced environment
- Attention to detail, leadership and work ethic
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
- Ability to travel, when needed
- FINRA series 79 preferred
- Salary $110,000-$125,000 plus bonus
