Global Software firm is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their Englewood, Colorado Finance department supporting Senior Management. Requirements: 2-3 years of financial analyst experience, Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
- Maintain and prepare modeling, in-depth analysis, monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and reporting of financial and business performance to support company-wide financial and operational goals and initiatives
- Analyst will support strategic planning activities and decision-making, as a resource to senior management
- Analyst will assist with the preparation and calculation of monthly commission accruals and quarterly payments
- Ability to generate accurate and timely financial statements and reporting packages as required, including monthly P&Ls and G/L detail, for senior management
- Analyst will be involved with extracting data from ERP and CRM software systems to validate and scrub for accuracy
- Assist with the preparation of presentations (internal and external) of financial and operational business results and analysis
- Analyst will help with end of month financial close variance review (forecast vs. actual), as well as financial and operational metric reporting
- Additional financial and operational analysis and duties as needed
- Salary range $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience
Financial Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2-3 years of financial analyst experience
- Industry experience at a Software Device Company, Subsciption based company or firm that provides a service is preferred, but not required
- International exposure a plus
- Experience with NetSuite software or an ERP, a plus
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting and analytical skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make sound recommendations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, v-lookups etc..) and PowerPoint required
- Excellent work ethic and ability to effectively manage a high-volume workload
- Ability to work extended hours occasionally
- Excellent communication, positive attitude, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
