International Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to join their Corporate Banking department in New York City, as a VP or AVP. 5+ years relevant industry experience, corporate lending / customer relationship. Experience and knowledge in trade finance is a plus. Project finance, experience in credit and financial report analysis, experience in direct client management is preferred.
Position summary: To process assigned syndicated and bilateral loan products and related works and services with a primary focus on Corporate Clients, and Financial Institutions
Relationship Manager Responsibilities:
- Prepare credit proposals of syndicated and bilateral Corporate loans, loans secured by domestic branch and support credit analysis for customers’ financial service needs including managing customer databases and relevant documentation to facilitate accurate and efficient execution of loans
- Attend business meetings, prepare meeting minutes, meeting agendas, and presentation materials for clients
- Assist Department Head and other relationship managers in portfolio management, credit packages, and assigned projects
- Prepare monthly reports to Head Office and/or relevant departments with all related business activity/volume required
- Obtain KYC related information and coordinate with clients or agents. Set up customer ID
- Prepare required annual reviews and credit-related reports on assigned accounts to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal credit policies
- Provide excellent customer service and assist in opening new accounts for clients and maintain necessary documents for all operations and maintain effective relationships with clients
- Maintain an updated deal information database and related reports
- Assist Department Head in arranging credit facilities, participate in client meetings and prepare marketing materials for new clients and prospective clients
- Undertake any other relevant duties assigned by the Department Head from time to time
- Successfully complete the mandatory annual BSA/AML training
Knowledge & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or other business related field
- 5+ years relevant industry experience, corporate lending / customer relationship. Experience and knowledge in trade finance is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of corporate banking products and credit analysis.
- Project finance, experience in credit and financial report analysis, experience in direct client management is preferred.
Capability Requirements:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Good internal and external client marketing and service skills, including strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

Salary range $130,000-$190,000 based on experience. Bonus eligible.
